FALSTAFF – TROPHY VINO NOBILE 2021

Managed by Falstaff, the oldest Austrian magazine writes aboute food, wine and living, founded on 1980 and released in all Europe in German language with over a million readers, Vino Nobile Trophy is a race with best Vino Nobile and Rosso di Montepulciano wines from Montepulciano area, one of the best Tuscan spot to visit.
Wines, are tasted, rated and tasting notes are released.

We competed with 2 of our wines: in Vino Nobile category we raced with our SAN CLAUDIO II and it has been valued with the great score of 91 points, 2018 vintage; in category Rosso di Montepulciano we raced with FONTEBRASCA and it brings home the great value of 90 (the best score for its category).

SAN CLAUDIO II – Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G. 2018
15 by alcol. Natural cork. Shiny ruby red colour. Great smell of old forest, raspberry and red currant, after spicy notes of thyme and rosehip. Juicy and strong to the palate. Great acidity with a good velvety. Great enght on ending with red fruits echoes.

FONTEBRASCA – Rosso di Montepulciano D.O.C. 2019
14,5 by alcol. Technical closure. Great shiny looking. Bouquet of fine herbaceous fragrances combined with ripe black cherries and fragrant plums. Juicy on the palate, youthful with a slightly austere aspect and young tannins, it shows awareness. Juicy with a medium intensity and length finish.
